MR. TEO CHIN HOCK

 

Teo Chin Hock is the Deputy Chief Executive of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) since 1 January 2016. In this role, he assists the Chief Executive of CSA in executing CSA’s mission, providing leadership, strategic direction, as well as seeing to the effective and efficient management of CSA.
Prior to joining CSA, Chin Hock was the Deputy Chief Executive (Strategic Development) in the Defence Science Technology Agency (DSTA) where he assists the Chief Executive in driving the strategic development of DSTA.
Chin Hock’s experience spans several critical areas, including the acquisition management of key defence systems as well as the management of national security programmes in support of MHA and other national security agencies.
He has been the key driving force behind the build-up of the critical command and control systems development capability for MINDEF and the SAF. His most recent endeavour is the significant build-up of cyber defence engineering competency and capability in DSTA
He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 1997, and the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2003 for his special contribution in the fight against SARS. In 2007, he was awarded the Defence Technology Prize (Engineering) Individual Award for his contributions and outstanding works in C4I systems development.
